A Question about LGBTQ

Guys, I’m really confused about something. I know that the LGBTQ lifestyle is not permitted when you a believer in Christ, but I can’t help to want to be friends with them (in a strictly platonic way).

But I feel that if I do, I’m betraying God and not being what he needs me to be. But I also don’t want to be one of those God-fearing people who spouts hate and prejudice towards them because of their beliefs and lifestyle.

What should I do?
