My struggle with lust and a plan!

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” — James 5:16 (KJV) My biggest fight now—and has been for a while—is my lust for the flesh and the pain it didn’t cover but ripped open worse. Too long I have let an altar burn that is not our Lord’s. As of right now, pornography has wreaked havoc on my life for 17 years. Today I feel very strong and brave in the Lord, and after prayer tonight, I feel my spirit ready to war. I am ready to say, “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine to defy the armies of the living God?” To anyone else struggling, I want to pray for you—please say “hey” and I will add you to a personal prayer list of brothers and sisters. I am done living in shame and fear around this—being beaten by our oversexualized culture! We are weak on our own, and I challenge anyone else feeling the same to also pray. By the power and might of Christ, let’s tear down this altar and stand before the Cross—because Jesus is King, not our lust.
