Finding purpose in life

I’m not sure where to even really start all of this. I know what God has placed on my heart to do in life, but the path to the end goal is not at all simple. I realize nothing is easy in life, but it just feels like I’m floating in between where I’m at now and where I need to be to start down said path. I’m struggling to find God through all of it, yet I know He’s with me always. Is there something I’m missing? Or is this just a season of floating in between?
