The Elsperman Family

Hello, My name is Clifford Elsperman. My mother and father, Janet and Edward Elsperman were on the run back in the 1970’s and through the 80’s. They made a life of HitchHiking all across the us bumming. They kept this up for my entire Childhood. from the age 2yrs until i ran away at 15. me and my siblings never got the chance to go to school or be socialized in anyway. and were neglected in every since of the word. we were just confined to my parents life of lies. they would use us kids as a way to make people fell sorry for them and give them money. all the people that would pick us up along the highway, and at churches that they would stop at along the way. they did travel all over the US, but mainly stayed in the south east region. i’m am 50 years old now. and have spent most of my life burying my past so i could just learn to adjust to society and lead a normal life. i was successful in doing it. but only by shear will, and what i have found nowadays…As the grace of god. i had lost my faith in him through my childhood with what seamed to be so many unanswered prayers. but i didn’t have the eyes to see just how much God was working just to keep me alive. i am grateful for my life these days. and i have finally found the strength to dig up my past. and to write about it. i am attempting to write a book about my life story. so i am writing to you in an attempt to contact anyone that might remember my family. i would love to talk with them, and give them the truth about our story. and also allow them to add there little part to it. all these people that helped us, were misled by my parents, but truly were guardian angles. because whatever they did, helped keep us out of those dark dark times when my parents were desperate. so im asking if you could check with the Elder members of the congregations and hopefully reach out to the Elder Paster’s and share my story with them. i am already grateful if you have read this far! these are a few of the news paper clippings that i have on us from different years. the one from Tennessee, is the only picture i have of my childhood. thank you!
