Is it normal to have a fear of getting baptized ?

I noticed that most people are filled with joy after making the decision to be baptized and I don’t feel like same. I know I love the Lord and He loves me but I feel like something is stopping me. When I spend time with God I feel so sure but when it comes to the actual baptism which I feel is a commitment I feel afraid. What’s going on? I want to feel happy about my decision.
