Children’s ministry videos featuring Ollie the Owl – is it just me or did they just start using AI?
So this isn’t a theological question/discussion, but it has been bugging me and I haven’t seen anything about this anywhere so I’m not sure if it’s just me. I volunteer in my church’s children’s ministry with toddler and pre-k aged kids, and my church uses the videos with the Wonder Clubhouse/Ollie the Owl. Normally the animated part where they tell a Bible story is in one specific art style. It comes on today and the art style is very different In the animated part and I’m pretty sure it’s now AI? Like it’s very yellow toned. There’s a part with Pharaoh’s daughter coming to the river where she finds baby Moses and the people walking behind her have an odd spacing and like look like one of them is missing her feet?
This seems to be a new change, and it kind of annoys me! I was fine with how the animation was before, but now it looks off-putting to me in that weird AI way. I could be wrong, I’m no expert, but my husband tried putting a screenshot of it in an AI detector thing and it was saying like 99% likelihood it was AI. Anyway, I was curious if anyone else uses this kids program and has noticed this?
I can’t put a photo I don’t think, but this is a YouTube link of the video I saw today: https://youtu.be/6GWOhEp5T2k?feature=shared
