This subreddit is not good for weak or new Christians

I would like to say primarily that this subreddit is neither a good place for new Christians nor a safe place. It is not made apparent, but this subreddit is welcome for all users of all faiths. I’m not opposed to the idea. But I see a lot of people who seek advice or help with their faith, and they are immediately met with many different and opposing points of views and people trying to assert their biases. That’s OK in a debate format, but functionally, people should beware that there will be a flurry of beliefs. There will be people who believe that hell exists, those who don’t; people who believe that the Bible permits same-sex marriage, those who don’t; etc. That being said, I advise all new Christians to find a subreddit that would actually consist of those in your faith tradition (Protestant, Catholic, Gnostic, LDS, etc.) Even as someone who is deeply obsessed with studying Christian theology, it can be exhausting seeing an overwhelming amount of misinformation, purposeful misleading, and a flurry of atheists who attempt to refute the Bible altogether.

Do not let your faith be weakened by a measly subreddit. God bless you all and go in peace! Shalom.
