Can I use Kratom if it benefits me?

I have alot of mental and physical issues, growing up I had ADHD and was on aderall most of my childhood, had alot of trauma in the household from family issues, rebelled in my teenage years by making bad decisions. Joined the Marines at the age of 18, served 3 years and got medically separated because of advanced stage melanoma, got really depressed and accepted that I was going to die, partied throughout a lot of the treatment because I had given up, made poor choices. Ended up surviving by the grace of God… the treatments kinda messed with my brain however, my sleep is incredibly poor, I have chronic insomnia, I have terrible depression and anhedonia, and constant anxiety about Jesus and my salvation (religious OCD)

I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour back in April, but I take something called Kratom daily and it helps with literally everything… I even feel stronger in my faith and closer to God, and more empathetic, and just feel like a better version of myself. I’ve tried without it, I’ve tried to pray, i believe Jesus gave us these plants to help people like me.

Is this a sin?
