Christians in non Christian countries, do you go around thinking about hell?
As a Christian living in a non Christian country, almost everyone I come across isn’t Christian. I often get these horrible thoughts about how if Scripture is correct, they are all destined to hell. Its a disgusting idea and I hate it. It makes me want to throw up. It makes me feel like the relationship I have with anyone here isn’t real and doesn’t matter. It makes them feel fake somehow. And then I get depressed about it, like the thought just saps all my energy away.
I know this shouldn’t be normal, but is it? Do you guys get these thoughts often? How do you deal with them and get rid of them? What if they’re your loved ones?
The question can be directed to Christians traveling in non Christian countries as well. Also, please don’t give answers like pray for them, because I do that often. I want answers as to how YOU personally deal with it and cope with the thought. Because I hate it. I feel like a bad person just thinking about it. Or do you not think about this at all and leave it to God? But even then, if they are your loved ones, its impossible to just not think about it no?
I feel like I’m too focused with the fate of others instead of mine. Like I just cant stick to the personal parts of the faith and always end up worrying about others.
