Consequence of Christ on the Cross – A Paradox of Epic proportions

It states in the Bible that in the New Covenant of Jesus Christ God will remember our sins no more -Jeremiah 31:34.

As Christ is God become man, and has taken upon himself all of mankind’s sins, Christ becoming sin for us, therefore Christ will remember our sins no more meaning that Christ, as God become man, will remember himself no more. Complete and total self-amnesia which is why Christ had so much agony in the Garden knowing that he will never know himself anymore. A true sacrificial lamb led to the slaughter for our sins.

If fact we will join Christ in his agony of not knowing himself when we will receive a new body and name in heaven. A name that only we and Christ will know.

In fact, Christ stated that communion is an act to remember him, “Do this in remembrance of me.”

When we take communion, which is the body and blood of Jesus Christ, and as Christ dwells in every believer, communion is allowing Christ to remember himself. A paradox of epic proportions.

In fact Christ had said that he does only what he sees the Father do.

John 5:19-20 New International Version 19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.

Jeremiah 31:34 New International Version 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
