Please help me with this situation I’m in with my girlfriend. My girlfriend doesn’t like it when I get turned on when we’re non-sexually affectionate. This includes arm hugging, hugging, kissing on the cheek, holding hands. Her and I agree that we should not have sex until marriage, however, our beliefs clash when it comes to certain actions fueling certain emotions. I’m a guy and as a guy I do get turned on even by the smallest things by her, but I don’t act in any sexual way towards her, I use it to simply be more loving and affectionate. But she disagrees with that sentiment. She believes I really shouldn’t have any of these feelings whatsoever when we’re dating. I told her as a guy it’s normal for me to have these emotions in me when we’re affectionate, but she just doesn’t understand that. I could really use some advice on this.
