Do I really need to confess to my mom and dad?

Well, I’m a 15-year-old boy. I’m currently struggling with masturbation and pornography. I had a relapse a few minutes ago, so I’m going to confess my sin to my mom and dad. To be honest, I wish this was just between me and God, without having to talk to anyone. But my mom wants me to talk to them. I told her that I would prefer if I just talked to my dad, since he’s also a man. She said no, and that she wants me to talk to her too. So, do you guys think I really need to talk to them? And if so, do I really need to talk to both of them, or would just talking to my dad be fine?
