Free will isnt Real?

I would consider myself at the very least a theist, who does believe that Jesus died and resurrected, and lived a sinless life. My problem is with the logic surrounding free will. Our souls don’t make decisions for us, our brains do. Our souls, as I would describe them, is the true us experience consciousness from the human perspective. Brain chemistry can be easily altered or set in the wrong direction during development, our wants are all based off the experiences you go through in life, and all our actions are based off of what your brain wants to do. Every action you take is just what your mind values at the time, and what your mind values is based on what you’ve learned in life and it goes on and on. If there’s only truly one path you chose, then it can’t be free will and we can’t decide our fate, our brain does. And if our actions aren’t decided by anything and are completely random than we’re 100% not acting on our own decisions. How can my soul be judged for actions I committed as a result of being a product of my environment, which I also, did not have the liberty of choosing freely?
