Have You Ever Heard of Gorilla Glue and Teflon?

I pray everyone is having a blessed day.

I was praying about some Ministries being attacked online and not sure who to believe. Having suffered because of results lies told about us or family ,ourselves we should be more aware and careful of falsely accusing others. Luke 6:31 “And as ye desire that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise”. This teaching, often called the Golden Rule, is found in both the Old and New Testaments and emphasizes acting towards others with the same kindness and respect you expect to receive yourself.

Lies told are like that Gorilla Glue leaves a permeant mark! Impossible to remove and get rid of the results. The truth is like Teflon, it hardly ever sticks around long and most have trouble finding or believing it! Lies can be more comforting or reassuring than difficult truths, especially if the truth is painful or requires significant personal change. Take the Media for instance: Misinformation can be particularly persuasive because it is more likely to be remembered and repeated, especially when disseminated by influential sources. Proverbs 19:5. “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.” God will hold people accountable for bearing false witness and speaking lies, whether they escape human justice or not, as God’s judgment will ultimately find them out and they will pay a price for their dishonesty
