Jew interested in Christ

I’m a practicing Jew but after the assassination of Charlie Kirk has changed me, he spoke the truth and his stance and wholehearted conviction in His Christian faith is very inspiring, he spoke of the completion that Christianity provides. I’m interested in letting Christ in my heart but I’m scared and confused, there’s a messianic congregation a mile away from where I live and I think this Shabbat I’m going to attend. I have a New Testament, what book do you recommend I read to find answer to the questions in my heart?
