Noob question

Hi. I’m new on my journey and I have a question. I tried to ask a Christian friend but they shut me down right away.

I’ve always had a fascination with the stars. If god created the universe, he created earth, he created stars and created man in his image.

My question was, could he have created other life forms (aliens I suppose) on different stars/planets not in his image?

It was just a thought Ive been having a lot recently.
