Question from an Agnostic: What’s with American Baptist/Evangelical hate towards Catholics? (Warning: RANT)

Hate to name names but for Christ’s sake y’all are so petty especially dudes like u/chrisdagoat32 u/ratman1996 u/Relative_Ad1090 u/MilkSteak1776 and u/lazerbeamfan30000 in particular grind my gears. Catholics are just as biblical, if not more so – because, at the very least, they have an authority behind their interpretations. I don’t believe in papal infallibility or Apostolic succession or anything else but it’s more sensible than just picking verses and running with ’em, I mean think about it the reason there’re Christians who reject the Godhood of Jesus (e.g., Biblical/Trad. Unitarians & Oneness Pentecostals) actually on that note lemme share some anecdotes from when I was in Catholic school because this may just be the biggest problem that plagued even the Reformation in Luther’s time, “By what authority?” Because the bible itself doesn’t say it’s the sole authority if anything quite the opposite: 1 Samuel 15:23, Malachi 2:7, Luke 10:16, 2 Peter 3:2 and before y’all come for my throat with “But that’s not how it is meant!” Says who? The Bible itself is a mess with different ways of interpretation saintly intercession is as Biblical as Sola Fide is if you don’t have any authority to say that Catholics are wrong or performing necromancy that’s your interpretation cuz circling back to the nature of Jesus I touched on earlier… THE TRINITY IS NOT IN THE BIBLE IT WAS LITERALLY OUTLINED BY THE VERY CHURCH MARTIN LUTHER SPLIT FROM. That is why there’s so many denominations where Jesus is either just a guy, a separate god, a spectre, whatever else I would rather be Catholic (again)/Orthodox and have an understanding of God than be unsure of what exactly Jesus even is. Actually one last thing, I hate the “caThOliCs dOn’T rEaD ThE bIbLe!!!1!!” As if the bible itself wasn’t compiled and preserved by the Roman Catholic Church since ink was put to parchment.
