Update: We broke up

We ended up breaking up earlier this year maybe February? It does hurt since I walked away due to his unbelief, but i miss my bestfriend. I know these are all normal emotions and i’m working on feeling and not suppressing. Constantly reminding myself that God is still good through it all. He graduated a few days ago and i felt crappy i couldn’t reach out, text or call but I was happy, he found someone else and everything and i just wonder why we go through this as Christians? why is it so hard?
