What If You’ve Only Heard About Jesus, But Never Really Met Him?

This is a photo of Central Park in Manhattan, New York.

One of the most famous parks in the world.

You’ve probably seen it in movies or TV shows, heard someone talk about visiting, or maybe you’ve even been there yourself.

We feel like we know it.

We’ve seen the images, heard the stories, maybe even read about its history.

We can imagine the trees, the crowds, the city skyline.

But unless you’ve actually walked through it felt the sun on your face, heard the sounds, smelled the air you haven’t really experienced it.

There’s a difference between knowing about something and actually knowing it personally.

That brings me to someone far more important than a park…

We celebrate His birth at Christmas.

His resurrection at Easter.

His symbol the cross is everywhere.

The calendar most of the world uses begins with His arrival.

There are churches in nearly every suburb bearing His name.

I’m talking about Jesus.

Most people have heard of Him. Many know about Him.

But fewer have truly experienced what it’s like to walk closely with Him.

To live in real, daily relationship with Jesus Christ.

We might say we’ve “let Him in”… but have we really?

Have we truly surrendered our hearts to Him?

Is He just someone we acknowledge or is He truly our closest friend, Savior, and Lord?

So many judge Christianity without ever really experiencing Jesus Himself.

They confuse religion with relationship.

And honestly, that’s understandable.

But in doing so, they often reject the very One who’s offering them freedom, peace, and purpose.

If that’s been your story I urge you to try again.

Not religion.

Not rules.

But a relationship. With the living Christ.

Let Him be the center of your life.

Let His light shine into the darkness.

Let Him walk with you, guide you, love you.

He’s calling us to follow Him to become more like Him.

To discover our true identity as sons and daughters of God.

He set the perfect example, and He’s alive today, offering a love that transforms and a relationship that lasts forever.
