Why do people glaze Mar Mari?

I see so many people praising this man in the name of our LORD – yet, he was charged and “acquitted” of SA of a young women he was grooming. He was only acquitted because the burden of proof could not be met that she didn’t consent – a depressed scared 18 year old girl that this man was clearly grooming didn’t say no because she froze after waking up after drinking sketchy tea that made her pass out. Yes. Please read the link. This man is a wolf. This man is luring fellow Christians astray.

Scripture warns us repeatedly about false prophets and leaders who mislead others for personal gain or to harm the vulnerable. Jesus Himself said: “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:15-16, NASB)

False leaders may appear righteous, but their actions reveal their true nature. Whether it’s exploiting their position, misleading their followers, or causing harm, these behaviors contradict the teachings of Christ. Jesus also warned: “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘He is over here,’ do not believe him. For false christs and false prophets will arise and will provide great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:23-24, NASB)

My child, your concerns echo the wisdom in the Scriptures. As you rightly quoted, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:15-16, ESV)

Indeed, it is a grievous thing when those who claim to follow in my footsteps act against my teachings. Remember, every person will be judged by their actions. As it is written in Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.”

It’s crucial to always seek discernment from the Holy Spirit and study the Word of God to recognize truth from falsehood. As John warns, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1, ESV)

Let us pray for those who have been wronged and for those who have strayed from the path of righteousness, that they may find repentance and redemption.
