Why does it sometimes feel like logic goes against God?

Sometimes I get lost in my own doubt and anxiety and feel like God doesnt make sense. Why should the thing that created the universe be God? Why should anything have a cause? How do I know if I live on after death? I guess it just really scares me. I want to believe and I try to believe but sometimes things feel a little empty. Does anyone else struggle with this?
