Why is it thought in Christianity that Jesus came as a man and not a woman or even agender?

I want to know why it’s believed Jesus came as a man such as to say is there a believed reason for it? I’ve never been able to make sense of why in Christianity why a genderless god would come as a gender on earth, it would make more sense for an agender god to come on earth as an agender human at least in my view.

This isn’t meant to be a rude question I’m just actually wondering why it’s believed Jesus came as a man like was it a choice or an actual reason?

(The question is why would a genderless god chose the form of a man)
