Would I be affected spiritually by others?

My friend is Christian but turns to witchcraft in hoping of improving their life we can say positively and my non-Christian paternal family does the same thing. In 2018, I found a spell at my grandmother’s house and opened it to read, it was a protection spell but I threw it away and replaced with another one.

I’m worried that I might be affected by all that my life is a mess and I’ve been going through a lot.

What should I do if I was?? Tbh I feel cursed sometimes.
