Asking for prayer for a broken heart.

Hi everyone, I’m not really sure if this subreddit is used for this but I could really uses some prayer. My wife and I have been together for 8 years now and have a 2yo son who I adore. Recently I found out she’d been having an emotional affair talking to another man and then asked for a separation. She told me that she doesn’t want to do consoling and can’t doesn’t want to try to make it work. I am so lost for words I can’t think. I feel as if my whole life is being destroyed and I’m helpless to save it. My wife and I are unequally yoked and don’t agree politically. Part of me is saying that this affair is Gods way of giving me an out but I can’t imagine our loving God favoring me getting divorced. I’ve turned to the scripture but can’t seem to find his word that gives me comfort and security for what’s about to come. I want to try to save my marriage but my wife won’t lesion to reason. I ask that you might keep in your prays as I pray for healing and guidance. I feel lost and depressed and need Gods comfort in my life.
