Daily Devotional – James 2:19

‭‭James‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬ You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

It’s not enough for us as Christians to simply say we believe in one God. As James reminds us, even the demons believe and they tremble. What sets us apart is how we live out that faith every day. Our lives cannot be driven by the world’s values, selfish desires, or personal ambitions. Instead, we are called to shine as light in a world full of darkness. That light shines brightest when our faith is visible in the way we live; how we treat others, how we endure trials, and how we carry ourselves in every situation. Our foundation must first be the Word of God, and our guidance must come from the leadership of the Holy Spirit. When we walk this way, we reveal to the world that the one true God we serve is greater than all others. To Him be all the glory, forever and ever. Amen. (James Thomas)
