Hurting heart

I noticed when my heart is troubled how often it’s my fault, I cannot control what others are doing or how they can hurt me, what I can control is myself. That I may not hurt others, that I may stay kind and have love to share with those around me. May I not be greedy with love and other qualities that are so absent in this place, may I learn not to criticize others and wait on the Lord.
