Praying for the grace of God And the vertue of humility

Lord, I’ve noticed that lately I’ve had some emotional outbursts. I’ve been more sensitive than usual, choosing to ignore those who ignore me, and sometimes overreacting to small misunderstandings or offences. Deep down, I know that’s not the person I want to be. I don’t want pride to take root in my heart.

I pray that You fill me with a cheerful spirit, with grace, and with the ability to love deeply even when it’s hard. Help me to remember that my value comes from You alone, and not from being seen, noticed, or validated by others. Remind me that I have a place in this world because You’ve given it to me.

Please pray for me in this area, that the Lord may always remain at the centre of my heart, my thoughts, and my actions. And that Jesus our god may always be glorified and praised.
