Am I condemned for failing to spread the Gospel

I have a bunch of athiestic friends that I’ve tried to spread the Gospel too but failed, and even lost a few of them as friends. I am really trying and have adjusted where I went wrong, but God commanded to multiply His Kingdom, which I have failed to do so far. I just need clarification, does this mean I still haven’t done any work, or just that mine is unfruitful, and does this mean God will be angry at me if I die tomorrow? I don’t think so but maybe someone more well versed could help me. Have a wonderful day
