Familiy pressures me

Hey, I’m a bit stressed with my family. They aren’t faithful believers and they don’t hear me out, insult me and don’t respect my opinion or boundaries for example regarding my job decisions. Or they tell me that I’m responsible for all their problems all the time. I was forced to move in again after finishing my studies when I got a surgery and needed help for some time. Since when I nearly lost all my social contacts I had before, too. My family also doesn’t want me to have contact with people in church because they think faith takes to much room in my life. And since I didn’t make so good experiences there as well with some very legalistic people, I don’t go to church regularly any more since 1 year…

As a Christian I try to be patient with my family but I feel that it’s weighing me down more and more.

I pray that God helps me to not conform to the pattern of this world but instead: „Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.“ ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/111/col.4.5-6.NIV

I pray that God gives me the wisdom how to handle this difficult situation. „And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.“ ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I pray that they will see that Jesus is the way, truth and life.
