Heaven After Death

I’ve been thinking about the ideas of reincarnation and what happens after death, and I’m curious how Christianity addresses them.

1. What parts of the Bible do Christians believe show that reincarnation isn’t real and that each person only gets one life?

2. Where in the Bible does it explain that after death, you are judged and go to either heaven or hell?

Genuinely asking to understand better — not trying to argue, just curious.

(Extra thought if you’re interested:

Part of what’s driving my question is that it’s hard for me to imagine God creating anything less than perfect. I have a sense that it may actually be perfect, and maybe we just don’t see it correctly yet. I wonder if “heaven” is seeing God’s creation rightly, and that Jesus was pointing us toward a different perception, rooted in non-judgment and love. Curious if anyone sees it similarly or has insights on that too.)
