I feel like giving up on God

No matter how hard I try to seek God it always seems like there is always a issue and I don’t understand why .. Everyone gets dreams , visions, a word from God , or the holy Spirit speaks . But I get nothing at all , I’m trying. I just want a relationship with him but why I always end up on a dead end . I been praying for the holy Spirit and I haven’t received it yet but everyone who has a relationship with God has it but not me … I pray and I read my Bible .. like what is going on .
