I need advice on how to start follow God

I just recently (last night) decided that I want to follow God, and I kept on researching and researching on what I should do. I’m in an atheist household so it really is just me. However, I think I put too much onto myself too quick, I have so many expectations on myself it’s making me feel stressed out instead of happy when thinking about Jesus. I really want some advice. Where should I start? What’s a good starting point? What’s enough for someone who is just starting off?
