I’ve been ostracised by my Muslim family, how do I explain to them why I’m now a Christian

The transition from an atheist or other religion to Christianity is very distinct compared to from Islam. I just got into a physical fight with my dad after he accidentally opened my Amazon package and saw a Bible I ordered. My mother tried to defend me but I can tell she’s just as upset, and my younger sister was laughing at me. I didn’t think this path would be so difficult early on, I would like advice on how I can explain myself. Explain why Christianity has connected with me compared to Islam. I don’t know if prayers will be enough
