Leviticus 18:22

“You shall not lay with man, as with woman. That is detestable.” I have heard it was originally something like “Man shall not lay with boy” with was in regards to paedophilia? Anyhow, I need to know if homosexuality is a sin or if it is simply a translation. Is it like the thing with mixed cloth? “You shall not wear material woven from mixed cloth” people do it, anyway. I’m sure they’re not going to hell. Am I going to hell for being gay? Am I sinning for simply loving my own sex??

EDIT: May God bless all who were patient enough to explain to me. That is not a virtue everyone is blessed with and I am forever grateful for everyone who explained to me that, no, homosexuality is not a sin. And even if it was, if you still stay true to God you are a worthy Christian and will enter his kingdom when the time comes. Once again, God bless <3
