Reading vs listen to the Bible

Hi! This might sound like a stupid question, but I listen to the Bible. I follow along as the reader reads it to me. English is my second language and i find some words hard to pronounce. When it’s pronounced properly i understand it better. But people say “read your Bible”. Is it okay if I listen to it? Is it the same as reading it? Or if I actually read it myself its better spiritually? Thank you!!
