Seeking advice for following Christianity

Hey all, I’m seeking some advice. So for my whole life I would label myself as atheist with zero interest in religon but recently that has changed. Like I wouldn’t say I am a christian or anything because I do have my doubts but Im kind of in the middle. Like I really really wish I was religous because it seems like a great community and a comforting mindset but I just can’t get myself to believe in God. Whenever I see people converting atheists to Christianity they always talk about the creation iof the universe, how it’s only possible that a god created it. See, I think the big bang theory is a little hard to get behind, don’t get me wrong I love science but like even if it is what really happened, that there was a small, hot, dense point, how did that point come to be? I know a lot of people believe God created the universe but I find that very unrealistic and I’m like, “Okay, but how?” Like I know I won’t get a reason as to how because that’s kind of how the whole thing works but I still find it hard to believe. Like when it comes to the creation of the universe I’m okay with not knowing how it came to be. I guess why I am posting this is because I really want to become religious and find God, but I find it incredibly difficult to believe in. I do own the Bible and I try reading it when I can but if you have any advice on specific things I should read let me know. In summary I want advice on believing God is real.
