What is Christianity’s actual stance towards the LGBTQ+ community?

I’m not Christian but I do enjoy learning about religions.

I’ve heard Christians talk about the LGBTQ+ community positively, negatively or they just tolerate them. I’ve seen many say that being part of the LGBTQ+ community is a sin while I’ve seen many say that it’s okay to be part of it. I’ve seen some say that being part of the LGBTQ+ community is not a sin and that Jesus actually healed a gay man.

So what actually is Christianity’s stance towards this community?
