Why so much hate?
[ A little long I’m afraid ] I am seeing some strong opinions about Charlie Kirk’s death. That he isn’t a martyr and He did not die professing his faith. I’ve seen some really disturbing videos where people unapologetically say that he deserved to die. People do not need to show empathy. Leave the man alone.
He did profess his faith during his debates and had his own opinions about things. Do you not have those? If you were given a platform, wouldn’t you do the same with your beliefs? He made that platform himself and was brave enough to come and give people time and a mic to speak. I don’t think he ever hurled personal insults on anyone. Yet, I saw some clips where they say he looks queer, he looks ugly, he is oppressive and some were even worse. Did he say that to anyone who came to speak with him??
He believed murdering of innocent babies is wrong. Even when someone mentioned his daughter, he chose to stand by what he believed. If he had changed his opinion, wouldn’t people have said that he is hypocritical?
People are saying he didn’t believe in empathy and so we’ll not be showing any. Great! Leave it at that. Why go online and shout out to everyone? I saw some videos where people are even screaming at venues where he is being mourned. No empathy? Fine! No respect even for the dead??? Too far. Too inhumane.
