Your Church and SNAP

SNAP benefits are not slated to go into effect next month. Churches can be, and many times are, one of the best ways food pantires gain financial and physical donations for people who are going to struggle to find food in November.

The biggest issue is that these things take time to ramp up, so I strongly suggest you start talking with your churches now to figure out how they are going to help rather than waiting for November.

I am planning on writing a more extensive post on how and what to donate, but, again, timing is important.
