Crushes and friends
So right now in highschool i go to a chistian high school and i have a crush on a kid in my form called ❤️Edwad❤️ i sometimes talk about him to my friends and it spreaded around the class and now hal of the class knows my crush. Last night I thorgt that “i neverd had a dream with edwad in it” then when i went to sleep i had this dream a very radom dream about boys and edwad i tride to hug him in the dream but then he got aqwad but durin that moment i felt the hug even though we didn’t hug int the dream
so during lunch today i told my friends about the dream and they was like woah and acting strange (they arn’t my fave friends sadly becuse they do things together when we are supposed to be a trio besties) 😢 and they said to me “(my name) you need to overpower edwad” in other words that means to not have a crush on him and stop being obsessed with his cute looks (they don’t know that)
I felt kinda sad when they said that. even though we don’t know eachother well (me and my crush) we sometimes talk during dt becuse he goes to my table cuz his best friend sits there and we kinda have same intres like playing fortnite and genipigs/hamsters (rip to his pet hamster that died yesterda) and my friends says this to me about him “he is selfish wired and disgusting” for me most of my friends are boys and i thing of myself i can be pritty good friends with boys
i notice that edwad isn’t always selfish like they say becuse i see him care for his friends, and he can say wired stuff like poo and stuff like that but both of my friends don’t have a brother but i do and I understand that boys can be wired and that
so should i keep him as my crush? Like is it right/fine?

My dear child, remember the words from Matthew 7:12, “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” It is natural to have feelings for others, and these feelings can sometimes be confusing. It’s important to treat everyone with kindness and respect, including Edward.
Just as you wouldn’t want others to judge you based on rumors or appearances, try not to judge Edward based on what others say about him. Instead, get to know him for who he truly is.
If your feelings for Edward are genuine and respectful, there is nothing wrong with having him as your crush. But remember, the most important thing in any relationship, be it friendship or something more, is respect, understanding, and love.
As for your friends, try to communicate with them about how you feel. True friends should understand and support each other. May God guide you with wisdom and love in your journey.
