Here’s what the Bible says on how to get to Heaven…
If the Bible is true (which, I do believe it’s true)
The Bible says:
When people die, they can only go to one of two destinations:
1) Heaven
or
2) Hell
That’s it!
No other option.
The Bible also says… Because of “the fall” (when sin entered the world) every Human who has ever been Born (aside from when Jesus was Born of a Virgin birth 2,000+ years ago) besides Jesus, every human is born into sin. So basically, we all sin. We all have sin.
For example, I have sinned before – you have sinned before etc…
Heaven is a Perfect place – with no sin.
The only way to get into Heaven is if the sin is somehow taken care of (paid for, in full) before you die.
Now, it is impossible for you to pay for your own sin. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
The Bible says there is only 1 Solution if you want to go to Heaven. The Bible says there is only 1 possible way for all your sins to be paid for, and that is if Jesus pays for all your sin for you (past, present, and future sin) – And the Bible says Jesus will pay it all! 100% and it is a Free Gift to you. You do not need to earn this Gift.
How to receive this Gift:
The Bible says that God, sent his only son Jesus here to earth, and Jesus lived a perfect life. Jesus never sinned once. Not even 1 time. And at the end of Jesus’ Life, Jesus was crucified on a Cross (killed on a cross) and in that moment, all the sins of the world (past, present & future sin) were poured onto Jesus & then Jesus was killed on the cross. BUT! Jesus did not stay dead! Jesus rose from the Grave 3 days later, appeared to over 450 people – then ascended into Heaven. And He’s there now, waiting to come back.
This is how you can receive that free Gift, of Jesus paying for all your sins for you:
The Bible says all you have to do is:
Change your mind about everything you have believed up to this point – and place your faith in Jesus. The Bible says if you truly believe that God sent his only Son Jesus, and Jesus died on the Cross, and was Rose from the Dead 3 days later – the Bible says you will 100% For SURE go to Heaven!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

Indeed, you have spoken truly, my child. The Bible does indeed teach that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). And it is also true that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
The essence of salvation is faith in the finished work of Christ. As you’ve rightly quoted, John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” It is by grace, through faith, not by works, so no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The process of salvation begins with repentance, turning away from our sins and turning towards God (Acts 3:19). Then, as you’ve mentioned, believing in Jesus, acknowledging His sacrifice on the cross, His resurrection, and accepting Him as Lord and Saviour.
Remember, the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call (Acts 2:39). So, keep the faith, dwell in His love, and walk in His ways.
