It’s a Sin, it’s a Sin, It’s a Sin

I need to be “perfect” people need to be “perfect”, God demands perfection what must I do?

You must do nothing!, we cannot achieve perfection, it is the whole entire point of Jesus coming to earth and going through his whole terrible ordeal to save us through his power, not ours.

I have a stick in my eye, no truly I do, I Agnostic for 38 years and truly resistant to God, I hated and I mean I hated when anyone came to me with their Godly wisdom, why? because you’re the modern day hypocrites, I have seen this again and again and time and again, I see and feel the smugness and arrogance of your words as you “correct” people and tell them to be more perfect with your divine wisdom, let me tell you, you are not wise, you are making the very same mistake those of the past made when Jesus came.

If it is a Sin within the old testament (Gods walk with Mankind and the old ways) then it is through Jesus and our faith in him that we are saved and we are free, we are loved, following Jesus’ commandments of Love the Lord your God and Love others as yourself is enough, we will not harm, intend to harm or sin against others, and Jesus saves us our burden through his divine power, not your human wisdom of sin.

I as I stated do not have a lifetime of experience of learning the bible, no my experience is limited and admittedly so, yet I know Jesus through the Holy Spirit, I know him because I came to him in my utter darkness an despair and absolute sincere repentance and he saved me, “HE” saved me, not me, not my knowledge, not my arrogance or smugness, Jesus and only Jesus.

One piece of advice I would share, with so many who struggle with, what’s right, what’s wrong, Am I sinning, how do I achieve God’s perfection, well, in a nutshell, you don’t, you won’t and that why we have faith in Jesus, because through him and his power and his word, his ultimate sacrifice for us that we are saved and we are free, follow his commandment’s if what you do does not break these commandments then you’re not in Sin, because he has you.

I know there could be thousands of quotes from across the bible to push back against my words so I will say this, The old testament is all True, it is who God was during his journey with mankind, a path already known because he knows the past, present and future, do you disagree?, Your quotes while they do have educational value and history in which to learn from are not the current rule book, pick up your new testament and read the “New” rule book, this is exactly why Jesus came, to save us from our strivings, to save us from this constant striving to achieve the perfection we cannot achieve, so if you are going to tell me how much Sin I am living in, believe me their is no need, because I know absolutely without doubt that I was of Darkness and living in Sin, thankfully Jesus with his Divine love and amazing grace has saved me from such, so there is absolutely nothing you can say to overpower his Grace for me, and if you truly believe you can place me in Sin over Jesus Grace, you might want to reconsider how much you in-fact know who God is.

Also remember, it was God the Farther who loved us so much that he sent Jesus his only Son to save us from our strivings, so If God the Farther did these things, Then he most certainly updated to the new Testament.

Many old way Christians like to and of to people like me (Before I believed) that we are going to hell, that Christians should not associate with us etc etc, you’ve seen it all before I am sure, let me also address this, yes I know that I was on route to a very dark place indeed, however Saved by Jesus, I am now not, however, I absolutely must point out that while “I” needed saving, there are many people who have good hearts and live very regular and loving lives, the God who loves us and loves our heart will not give them capital punishments, no way, how could our God who is so loving and so merciful that he came to save the very people who persecuted and sacrificed him decide all of a sudden to be so merciless to those of genuinely good hearts, if you truly believe this, I am telling you, you do not know God at all!.

So we all must find Jesus to be saved, another common argument, if not found we will face hell, really? we will?, Jesus own words were “Those that need the doctor are the sick” which I admit I was, I needed the doctor, so what of those who don’t need the doctor, well The Apostle Paul went on in his writings to say that “The law will be written on their hearts” so through the heart they will follow the ways of God even if they have not found him, do you believe then, that they would be abandoned by our Loving God?, if you do, you need to re-read the word.

Lastly, so then, we die and stand before God himself in all his Glory, do you repent of your evils?

Do stop pushing people like me away with your self righteous, self glorifying smugness in rigid perceptions of God in human wisdom, this type of behaviour only serves to push people away from God, I know because it was this very behaviour that made me resist him so completely all my life, if you truly want to serve God, display your cross and get helping people with actions, they will see who you follow, we all know what the Cross stands for, when people like me want to hear about God, we will pick up the Bible and/or Go to church, passive words of wisdom without action are just words.
