Noticing changes

I’ve been a christian all my life, born and raised in a southern baptist church and even played bass for the church but recently something came over me, this need to strengthen my relationship with God and realign myself. Praying became more frequent, i’ve been reading my bible more and changing my lifestyle and my life has changed in a way. I used to struggle badly with lust, temptation and even anger but since moving closer to God all of that has disappeared. My thoughts and mind are more pure, i’m more patient, i don’t feel angry. It’s also opened my eyes to people and things around me, seeing how shallow and superficial my relationships with people are.
