My issue.

I trust God. I have really gone through a time of him removing my old self more and more. I have seen the truth in the Bible. About the coming Messiah(Jesus), all the prophetic passages…it is amazing. There is no doubt in me that Jesus is the way. I only have one issue. Why was it so hard for God to let us understand CLEARLY what we are being saved from. What is hell? There are to many different versions of what it is. Me myself believe there is no eternal suffering but that the lost will perish… destroyed after the judgement.

But why was it not written down by the first church in a clear way? It is like, you can sense that the different texts writers are certain what we are saved from…but it is never clearly written down. It is like there was a miss between the apostels and the early church fathers. That later Hades and pagan beliefs tinted the view on Hell. I mean here we have the Gospel, and it is clear what that is…but on the other end…what is the gospel saving us from, torment, punishment in a conscious state or a eternal punishment, meaning eternal death… destruction. The latter make a lot more sense for me. Live forever or die the second death…be put into the furnace to never exist no more.

For me it is a annoying thing…that there is so much truth and evidence for Christ. But why this weird and unclear view on what Hell is? It is not that I know that there are different views and I am not interested in a debate on that…it is more like:

Why is it like this, when we believe that we have the truth…why did God not explained it more clear?
